For the Do-it-Yourself guys, I still have the ZEROs in their "raw" form.
These have 5 foot long Teflon insulated Silver coated Copper leads for a 10
foot total span from amplifier to speaker. There are two WHITE/BLACK pairs
for bi-wiring from the ZERO to the speaker. These are the identical
autoformer I use in the ZERO-Cables and ZERO-Boxes.
Simply connect the ZEROs between your amplifier and speakers as shown below and listen to the benefits of being able to properly match your amplifier and speaker's impedance relationship. Finding the best speaker impedance multiplication factor is not difficult. As the speaker's impedance is increased you will notice a decrease in distortion, an increase in resolution, and a tightening of bass control. Start with the 2x multiplication factor and step up to higher multiplication factors. You will know when you have gone to far when the system starts sounding dry. This happens when the amplifier has over damped the speakers. When this happens, the multiplication factor needs to be reduced again. Trust your ears, and when you achieve the best sound possible, you are done.
